NCAA women's lacrosse recruiting rules

Division 1

Coaches can't have recruiting conversations until September 1 of junior year. Before that, they can only give yes/no answers through Larkin's club or school coach, and send camp or general school materials. After September 1, coaches can call, text, email, extend verbal offers, and Larkin can start scheduling visits.

These D1 dates shifted later in recent years (previously June 15 of sophomore year), so it's worth double-checking each fall for updates.

Division 2

Coaches can call and message digitally at any time. Off-campus contact and official visits open June 15 after sophomore year.

Division 3, NAIA & NJCAA

Far fewer restrictions — coaches can generally communicate and host visits throughout, though it's worth confirming specifics with each program.
